Hello there, I’m Jonny Yuma.

I am an active photographer, musician, communications professional and daddio to two kiddos.

In both photography and music, I enjoy experimenting with different mediums, tools, and subjects to capture evocative, natural, fun and abstract elements of life. 

Since 2017 my photography work has focused on family portraiture, weddings and events. I enjoy working with couples, family and friends to photograph all aspects of special occasions in a creative and candid way; including the formal, the fun, the ridiculous and the moments in between.

My more abstract photography projects have regularly shown at art exhibits, restaurants, and café's around Ottawa; shown and sold at the Ottawa Art Gallery; and published in Herd Magazine and the Glebe Report.
